The Miami Heat secured a decisive 131-109 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the Kaseya Center in Miami. This win allowed the Heat to split their two-game series with the Hawks. 

Tyler Herro led Miami with 24 points and 10 assists, rebounding from a subpar performance in the previous game. Duncan Robinson also contributed 24 points, while Davion Mitchell added 20 points, including 12 in the third quarter. Bam Adebayo chipped in with 20 points and nine rebounds. The Heat’s impressive shooting was highlighted by a 54.8% success rate from beyond the arc, with Mitchell and Robinson each hitting multiple three-pointers. 

For the Hawks, Trae Young recorded 17 points and eight assists, and Dyson Daniels led the team with 18 points and two steals. Despite shooting 50.6% from the field, Atlanta couldn’t keep pace with Miami’s offensive surge, particularly in the third quarter. 

The game was marked by Miami’s strong third-quarter performance, which proved to be the difference-maker. The Heat’s ability to execute offensively and tighten their defense during this period allowed them to build a lead that the Hawks couldn’t overcome.

This victory improves Miami’s record to 35-22, keeping them firmly in the playoff hunt as the regular season nears its conclusion. The Heat will look to build on this momentum in their upcoming games.
