If there were a Fantasy Football award for most likely to “Trade Their TE” I would have a secured spot for the past FIVE seasons. With this years spot hopefully leaving me in a better spot. Yes being a Falcons fan does not help the matter but standing 6 feet 6inchs and moving like a wide receiver, Pitts creates matchups nightmares on every snap of the ball. linebackers are not fast enough, safeties are not tall enough. When the ball is in the air who ever the QB will be this year Pitts is going to go up and get that all.

For some reason those factors only play a part for the first few weeks. After week four has concluded I am scrummaging through the wire trying to find the next hidden gem, even making trades I know I shouldn’t be making. Year after year the same story, Kyle Pitt comes out looking like the best Tight End in football making the big catches making me think he has finally broke the code and I’m a genius!

Then the second half of the season hits…..

Somewhere between the parking lot and the field Pitts is a completely different player. the football field as become his kryptonite. Targets start to disappear, passes he does see are eventually dropped and thoughts begin to pounder. Is he hurt? Is there bad chemistry? Has this all been a fluke? Its almost magical how someone can dominate so well and all of a sudden be a non factor. Its like the Offence of coordinator gets a phone call telling them “Do Not Throw Pitts The Ball.’ Its Impressive.

Yet again I will be here for the emotional ride once again, so sit back enjoy the first few weeks and get ready to sell him high.
