The NFC is yet again a division that anyone can win. Even someone not in the division, not really but its anyone’s game. This could finally be the year the Atlanta Falcons Finally take the division. Yes the Falcons have a mistaken identity trying to figure out a quarterback but surrounding players can and will make a play at anytime.
Atlanta is entering the season with a lot of questions followed by a lot of excitement. New Head Coach coming over from Cleveland in Kevin Stefanski. Stefanski is just what the falcons will need to finally make a playoff push. He has Bijan Robinson running through walls for him last year racking up over 1.400 yards in just rushing. Who ever is at Quaterback will have plenty of Hight with a 6 foot 6 Tight End in Pitts and just as tall at 6 foot 4 Drake London. I believe anyone under center should be able to get this team hot in the win category.
The Carolina Panthers are coming over another losing season with a record of 8-9 but ultimately winning the division. Goes to show how the NFC South division was last year as well. Most of the time Carolina is over looked at a team that should be fighting for a spot but with Bryce Young under center the formal number 1 pick took a big step forward last year and looking to continue his growth this year. With new improvements on the defensive side adding linebacker Devin Lloyd and Jaelan Phillips Carolina should be able to stop the run and hang in close to any game this year.
The Bucs are going to be serious challenge for anyone this year. Baker just signed a contract extension to stay with the Bucs for another 3 seasons. He will now be able to focus on just football. All though Mike Evans leaving for the 49s will leave a big hole in the offence they will rely on an experienced quarterback under pressure and young fresh talent. Dont ever Count the Bucs out.
Don’t sleep on the Saints. On paper the team looks like a high school team looking for a chance but on the filed players are were they need to be and making plays they should be making. Their quarterback Tyler Shough shown major potential after taking over the last nines games for the saints and untimely helping them fight for a spot back in the playoff race. With a full offseason under his belt now and experience at a high level Tyler Shough could be a sneak MVP this year. If Tyler Shough find Chris Olave things will get dangerous. With that being said Olave will have to stay healthy and be a major factor. Do I think they can win the super bowl no not in a long shot, but can they win the a very open division? Well anything is possible in the NFC. They will need to mix on new playmaker Travis Etienne Jr. to keep the defense on their toes. He will give them the best chance at throwing a few deep balls if the defense is to focus on this pass catching runningback.
With everything being said, I like the Atlanta Falcons chances better. The Falcons have offensive weapons that can stand toe to toe with the best. Their defense has improved and their quarterback situation will only become talks if they don’t win.
