We are 0-1 NOT 0-17. Not how Kevin Stefanski imagined his Falcons debut would turn out but only up form here. Just like every game I can remember the Falcons looked good in the first half. Feeding Bijan the ball, allowing him to get to open field but costly errors and overthrown balls makes all the difference. On the bright side, Falcons nation will always RISE UP. We were 0-1 not 0-17 I keep telling myself. There were plenty of good to come from week one against the Steelers, but mostly were out weighed by silly mistake mistakes.

Just like every Falcons game, they were in it till the fourth quarter jumping out to a 7-3 lead in the first quarter and down by only one score for most of the game they held tight but the Steelers defense in father time in Aaron Rodgers overcame the quarterback fiasco the name before Sunday’s game reports came out. Cooper Rush was indeed having back spasms, unsure if this is related, but a few overthrown balls on a wide open receiver, could’ve been a difference maker. With the final score and 20-13 the Falcons will have their home opener against a division opponent that won’t be easy against the Carolina Panthers.

Bijan Robinson had plenty of work to do with 29 out of 57 offensive players went through him. With His first TD of the season coming off a 23 yard toss from Cooper Rush. Falcons are going to need to figure out how to mix things up if they want to keep Bijan healthy.

Defense has been the Falcons downfall for the last few year but after what I saw yesterday I believe all is well. Holding the Steelers to only 58 rushing yards all game with two sacks both coming from Za’Darius Smith and 6 quarterback hits potential has finally arrived. When the offence starts to click the Falcons are going to be dangerous team. All though not flawless it kept things interesting and kept every Falcons fan excited. Having the Ball with 4mins left in the game and down by 7 the Falcons Things were looking good with a runs from Bijan but after a 9 yard sack by Steelers Highsmith the falcons were left with no choice but to punt away their first loss of the season.
